Our son, Cormac, is a huge Pokémon fan and trading card enthusiast, so for his 11th birthday we ordered a Pokémon Trading Card Game Chaos Rising Booster Box (€285) from PokeBundles Ireland.
Cormac had been eagerly counting down the days until it arrived, so it was understandably disappointing when the order wasn’t delivered. After contacting PokeBundles six days later, we spoke with the company’s founder, Tony, who explained that demand had far exceeded expectations and, unfortunately, the item had sold out.
While this wasn’t the news we had hoped for, what happened next is what truly impressed us.
Tony was incredibly professional, honest, and empathetic. He took the time to understand how disappointed Cormac was, especially as this was a special birthday gift. Rather than simply apologising, Tony went above and beyond by arranging for alternative Pokémon products to be delivered the very next day. He also kept in direct contact with us throughout the process, ensuring we were fully informed every step of the way.
Although our experience began with disappointment, the exceptional customer service completely turned things around. Mistakes and stock shortages can happen to any business, but it’s how a company responds that really matters. Tony and the team at PokeBundles Ireland demonstrated genuine care for their customers and a commitment to making things right.
We are extremely satisfied with how everything was handled and would have no hesitation in recommending PokeBundles Ireland as a trustworthy and reputable supplier of authentic Pokémon products. Thank you, Tony, for making sure Cormac’s birthday still had a happy ending!
